Maine, corporal of the Foreign Legion who fought in the Battle of Camerone

Corporal of Foreign Legion Louis Philippe Maine (September 4, 1830 - June 27, 1893). He survived the campaign in Algeria, the Crimea and in Italy, to eventually survived all Mexican adventures, including the Battle of Camerone. Survived following the Franco-Prussian war. He died peacefully in his bed in Douzillac, in his native region.
